23 Jun Knee Surgery – a slightly different perspective!
Attended a conference on knee surgery the other day. Right from the off, the surgeon explained meniscal repair was not a cure in itself, it simply creates the environment for the body to heal the tear in the cartilage. Apparently, some surgeons even place blood clots within the suture (stitch) to help!
Got to be honest, Osteopaths have been banging on about the body’s ability to heal itself or years, It was just great to hear another Medic say it.
